The Dublin Dental University Hospital with the support of the IFPDC is offering a part-time/blended learning Masters Degree in General Dental Practice – Masters in Clinical Dentistry (MClinDent). The third intake on the Masters course is scheduled for September 2019. The Masters qualification is awarded by TCD.

The new entry requirements in September 2019 will allow practitioners without any previous postgraduate qualifications to make application to join the Masters programme. Applicants must have a minimum of one year post qualification experience.

The format for 2019 is based on a range of modules and a Dissertation. The New format Masters is structured so that successful applicants can continue to work in practice or HSE clinics while pursuing the course. Candidates who are accepted onto the course can select from a range of modules and spread the course over three years. In some instances with college approval, the timescale can be extended over five years. Normally candidates will undertake three modules per year.

Details of the new format Masters and course fees should be available by April 2019.

Expressions of interest are welcome.
