The IFPDC Winter Scientific Meeting was held on Sat 16th November 2019 in the Large Lecture Theatre, DDUH.
The keynote speaker was Dr Andrew Shelley, Specialist Prosthodontist, Manchester, who guided attendees through the different evidence-based approaches to restoring the broken down tooth, the broken down restoration and the broken down mouth.
Dr Caitriona Ahern, GDP and part-time lecturer in Oral Radiology in UCC, gave a practical and informative presentation on radiographic interpretation.
Dr Conor Barry, Consultant Max-Fax surgeon, St James’s Hospital, provided valuable tips on minor oral surgery in general dental practice.
There was excellent evaluation feedback from attendees on the quality and practicality of the presentations.
